Visionary Eye Doctors is accepting applications for a fulltime BC/BE Oculofacial Surgeon to join our physician owned, multi-specialty eye care practice in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. The new surgeon will be joining an established oculofacial specialist with 28 years of experience, currently booking surgeries six months out in advance. This will be an an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to immediately start with a large volume of functional and aesthetic patients and surgeries, as the existing surgeon will transition toward retirement.
Established in 1997, Visionary Eye Doctors provides an integrated team approach to provide complete eye care for our patients. All subspecialities of ophthalmology are represented, along with highly qualified ophthalmic technicians and dedicated support staff that strive to provide quality eye care using the most advanced, sophisticated technology available.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
- Completion or about to complete an ASOPRS-accredited oculofacial fellowship, or non-ASOPRS fellowship
- Eligible to obtain state medical license (DC and MD)
- Established as well as newly trained surgeons are welcome to apply
