Full Time Oculoplastics Partner in Traverse City Michigan multispecialty group practice

Grand Traverse Ophthalmology Clinic, PC is recruiting for a full-time Oculofacial Plastics position as Peter Sneed, MD transitions from his flourishing practice of 30 years. This is not a private equity practice, nor is there any plan for that to be the case in the future. We firmly believe that physicians can do the practice of medicine as well as the business side of medicine and we believe that we can do that very well. Our clinic has fellowship trained partners from, Duke, Wilmer, Wills Eye, Massachusetts Eye and Ear, and Virginia. We have all sub specialties other than retina covered within our group, and we employ eight optometrists. This position is on a partner track over 1-2 years and we do not believe in “blue sky” or goodwill for the new partner’s buy in. We also are partners in one of the busiest multi specialty ASCs in the country. Call is reasonable, a week at a time about every 12 weeks and is compensated by the local hospital. Currently Dr. Sneed is the only Oculoplastic surgeon in all of northern Michigan. Traverse City is a highly sought after place to live with fantastic educational and cultural opportunities.  The recreational opportunities of the Grand Traverse and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore  area are unparalleled. Should an individual desire to travel from our area, the local airport has direct flights to over 17 destinations across the country. We are looking to fill this position in July of 2024 with Dr Sneed assuming a mentoring role as the transition occurs, should that be desired.
