Oculoplastic Reconstructive Surgeon
The Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (OVS) Department at UTMB Health in Galveston is one of the oldest in the Southwest and has a rich tradition of service and education excellence. OVS strives to provide top-rated service at each of its four clinic locations in the Southern Harris County/Galveston County region. We have assembled a group of eye doctors that offer routine eye care and vision support, as well as subspecialists in pediatrics, cornea, glaucoma, retina, uveitis, neuro-ophthalmology, and oculoplastic conditions. The Department is seeking a highly motivated Oculoplastic surgeon to join the team to help meet the increasing demand in a rapidly growing region in Texas.

Position Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training in Ophthalmology Surgery
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology Surgery
  • Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Fellowship trained
  • Ability to obtain a valid unrestricted Texas state medical license
