Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive oculofacial plastic surgical care, including reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
  • Maintain a busy surgical and outpatient clinical practice.
  • Teach and supervise ophthalmology residents and fellows in both clinical and surgical settings.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional research initiatives, with support for clinical and/or laboratory-based projects.
  • Collaborate across subspecialties within a department of 40 faculty members covering all areas of ophthalmology.

 

Qualifications:

  • Medical doctorate (MD) or equivalent.
  • Board certification in ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training in oculofacial plastic surgery.
  • ASOPRS member/candidate member.
  • Academic interest in research and education.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota.
