Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is actively recruiting for full-time Oculoplastic Surgeons in Riverside/Murrietta & San Bernardino County. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Oculoplastic Surgeons to manage all aspects of Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital surgery, serving both adult and pediatric patient populations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal disorders, as well as proficiency in reconstructive and functional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Care: Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal disorders in adults and children.
- Reconstructive Procedures: Perform reconstructive procedures following trauma, tumor excision, and congenital anomalies.
- Functional Eyelid Surgery: Manage functional eyelid surgeries, including ptosis repair, entropion/ectropion correction, and blepharoplasty.
- Orbital Surgery: Conduct orbital surgeries, including management of tumors, fractures, and inflammatory conditions.
- Lacrimal Procedures: Perform tear duct (lacrimal) procedures, such as dacryocystorhinostomy and other interventions for nasolacrimal duct obstruction.
- Cancer Care Collaboration: Collaborate with Mohs specialists to provide comprehensive care for periocular skin cancers, including surgical excision and complex reconstruction.
- Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Participate in multidisciplinary teams involving dermatology, oncology, radiology, and other specialties for holistic patient management.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure accurate documentation of clinical findings, procedures, and patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain adherence to best practice standards.
Requirements:
- Completion of accredited residency training in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery, with significant exposure to orbital disease management and reconstructive procedures
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology

Salary range for full-time openings is $546,015.00 - $552,975.00. Potential premium earnings are up to $33,048.00. Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
