Oculoplastic Surgeon Faculty - Full Time

The Department of Ophthalmology at SSM SLUCare Physician Group and Saint Louis University is recruiting a fellowship-trained ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon or current ASOPRS fellow to join a growing academic oculoplastics practice in St. Louis.

This position is well suited for fellows approaching completion of training who are looking for a supportive transition into practice while building long-term clinical independence. The incoming surgeon will work alongside an ASOPRS-accredited, fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon with 20 years of experience offering meaningful mentorship while encouraging autonomy and practice development.

The incoming surgeon will enter a busy, well-established functional practice with strong institutional support and the ability to develop both functional and cosmetic oculoplastics according to individual interests.

Practice & Support Highlights:

• Established oculoplastics service
• Dedicated nurse practitioner and ophthalmic scribe
• Support to build an incoming surgeon’s own team, including a dedicated APP and medical assistant

Academic Appointment:

• Full-time faculty position at Saint Louis University
• Academic rank commensurate with experience
• Active role in teaching residents and medical students
