OREGON, Portland. Oregon Health & Science University, (OHSU), is a leading health and research university that strives for excellence in patient care, education, research, and community service. Casey Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking a full-time Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist to join our faculty at its main campus in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible. Oregon state medical licensures are required.

OHSU is a nationally recognized academic health center dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and community service. The Casey Eye Institute is home to a collaborative team of 69 ophthalmologists, 12 optometrists, and multiple basic science faculty, and offers comprehensive subspecialty care including: Glaucoma, Cornea, Retina, Oculoplastics, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Pathology, Oncology, Uveitis & Ocular Immunology, Low Vision Rehabilitation and Ophthalmic Genetics.

The department supports robust training programs including 15 ophthalmology residents and 11 clinical fellows, in addition to internationally recognized research programs in optical coherence tomography (OCT), biomedical informatics, and basic science.

  • Must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology
  • Completion of an Accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
  • Completion of an Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Oregon and Washington
